Wedding Party, Flowers, and Ceremony

We are back from camping! We had a wonderful time in the great outdoors!

I missed "Show Us Your Life" Last Friday, but I still wanted to show you all our Wedding Flowers, Wedding Party, and Ceremony.

First, a bit of background about our wedding...

We were married in August 2008 in San Diego, CA on beautiful beach side lawn at the San Diego Hilton Resort on Mission Bay. Our colors were tangerine and turquoise, like the sunset hitting the ocean. They were definitely some bold colors but I loved them! We also accented with pencil starfish and sand dollars, which added the perfect amount of "beach-chic".

Wedding Party

My Bridesmaids were my two best friends from Elementary School and two best friends from college. My matron of honor was my best friend from Kindergarten!

They all wore silk chiffon halter dresses by Maggie London from Nordstrom, in the color "Clear Pacific" (turquoise). I loved summery and feminine they were!


The Groomsmen were the Mr's three younger brothers and his best friend from college. His Best Man was his best friend from preschool!

They wore traditional black tuxes with turquoise vests under them.



Flowers

Our florist did a fantastic job on our wedding flowers!

My bouquet was made ivory roses, ranunculus, and gerbera daisies and was garnished with beautiful turquoise beads. The bridesmaids had the same flowers and beads, except their flowers were orange.

Our ceremony flowers were my favorite! The ceremony included a petal runner, a white flower and greenery garland featuring giant pencil starfish that we got married under, and orange roses with pencil starfish tied to each aisle.
